Restaurant Expeditor

Trillium Staffing is now hiring a Restaurant Expeditor for direct hire in Au Gres, Michigan.

Schedule may vary Thursday- Sunday 11am-11pm. Pay rate is $16 per hour.

Responsibilities:
-Order Management & Communication: Receive and prioritize orders from servers, and effectively communicate them to the kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation.
-Quality Control: Inspect finished dishes for accuracy, presentation, and ensure food quality meets restaurant standards before they leave the kitchen.
-Customer Service & Issue Resolution: Handle customer complaints or issues regarding orders promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
-Collaboration & Updates: Maintain clear communication with both front and back-of-house staff and provide order status updates to servers.

Qualifications:
-Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
-Experience: Previous restaurant experience is required, with preference given to those with prior expediting experience.
-Leadership & Teamwork: Strong leadership abilities to motivate a diverse team, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.
-Food Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and industry best practices.
