RF Test Technician

Trillium is looking for an RF Test Technician!

A leading provider of high-power ultra-broadband RF amplifier systems for commercial, scientific, and military applications globally.

The RF Test Technician, reporting to the Operations Manager, works closely with engineering teams to develop and execute test solutions for RF products from concept through manufacturing. The role involves supporting product evaluations and final product characterization.

Primary Duties:
-Collaborate with design and operations teams to support product development.
-Recommend test resources, processes, and technologies.
-Set up test circuits to measure product electrical parameters.
-Test, update, and repair PCBs using test stations and soldering tools.
-Assist in the assembly and testing of RF components.
-Use statistical tools to analyze data and assist in troubleshooting.

Key Qualifications:
-Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with 3 years of RF testing and assembly experience.
-Proficient in setting and adjusting electrical test instruments for accurate parameter measurements.
-Skilled in complex test setups, including inputs, outputs, and metering.
-Basic RF knowledge with tuning/troubleshooting experience below 6GHz.
-Hands-on experience with RF test equipment such as Spectrum -Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Power Meters, and Signal Generators.
-Familiar with ISO 9001 standards.
-Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to work independently and within a team.
-Physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for 8-10 hours a day and lift up to 40 lbs.
