Assistant Superintendent - Per Diem Offered
Trillium Construction is now seeking an Industrial Ductwork Assistant Superintendent for work in Destrehan, LA (Relocation required before start date)!
Pay is $1,800/week + Per Diem. This is a direct-hire, full-time position with benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, end of year production Bonus.
Job Summary:
-Assist with process ductwork, dust collection, and conveyor installations.
-Supervise crews to ensure safe, on-time, and budget-compliant project completion.
-Experience in ducting, pipe fitting, and millwright work required.
Responsibilities:
• Project Coordination: Review scope, drawings, and schedules; manage document revisions.
• Crew Management: Plan staffing; coordinate hiring, training, and compliance.
• Material Handling: Receive, inspect, and document shipments.
• Quality Control: Oversee work (including subcontractors); ensure contract adherence.
• Safety: Enforce OSHA standards; address site-specific safety rules.
• Equipment: Maintain tools; verify operator certifications; address equipment issues.
• Communication: Assign tasks, instruct foremen, and document daily activities.

Qualifications:
• Experience in heavy construction, ductwork, and millwright work.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.
• Reliable attendance; ability to travel and work overtime.
• Must be 18+, pass drug screen and background check.
• Lift/carry up to 50 lbs; frequent standing, walking, climbing, and manual handling.
• Environment: Outdoor construction site with varying weather conditions and exposure to materials
