Dispatcher
Trillium Construction is hiring for a Construction Equipment Dispatcher to work directly with a large, well-respected heavy civil contractor in Arroyo Grande, CA.
This individual will be the main point of contact between Project Managers and Drivers delivering large construction equipment to job sites and companies renting equipment. This is a direct-hire, full-time, and long-term opportunity with a competitive salary and benefits!
Duties:
-Maintain work schedule for trucking operations
-Maintain DOT compliance records
-Coordinate with field personnel for their equipment needs
-Foster and sustain a positive, team-oriented culture
-Quality control inspection of trucks and trailers
-Ensure all required inspections are completed
-Review and approve daily paperwork, timecards, invoices, logbooks, inspections, etc.
-Ensure all workspace safety protocols are followed
-Track outside vendor rental log
-Performs other related duties as assigned
Compensation:
-Annual salary between $66,000 - $80,000/year

Qualifications:
-Associate, Vocational or Technical Degree in related field preferred
-2-5 years of experience in the transportation or equipment industry (transportation management, dispatching, customer interaction)
-Ability to learn and use HCSS Dispatcher computer software system
-Valid Commercial driver’s license and active DOT medical card highly desired
-Competent knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel as well as internet browsers and Windows
-Excellent communication skills
-Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities and sometimes conflicting deadlines
-Available to work some nights, weekends and holidays when needed
