Quality Control Technician

Trillium Professional is now seeking a Quality Control Technician in Jeanerette!

Our client is seeking Quality Control Technicians who can take part in lab procedures and quality operations for the plant. In addition to being a motivated team member, the candidate should be able to work in a collaborative atmosphere. Experience is also required regarding the ability to follow safety guidelines and a healthy work environment.

Responsibilities
• Assist in plant quality performance such as feedstock and product quality
• Maintain clean and safe workplace
• Conducting analysis in a laboratory environment
• Collecting and preparing samples, interpreting results, recording and analyzing data

Qualifications
• Recommended experience with lab equipment such as moisture analyzers, muffle furnaces and precision scales
• Experience in continuous process operations
• Experience in material handling for continuous operations
• Experience in laboratory procedures is of significant value
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
