Maintenance Assistant
Trillium is now seeking a Maintenance Assistant for work in Jeanerette, LA!
The client is seeking candidates who can assist mechanical and electrical maintenance technicians with operating procedures for the plant. In addition to being a strong technical thinker, the candidate should be able to show a history of working in a team and collaborating with others. Experience is also required regarding the ability to establish safe maintenance practices and follow safety guidelines and create a healthy work environment for all employees.
Responsibilities
• Assist with facilities process equipment maintenance
• Maintain clean and safe workplace
• Work on a rotating 12-hr shift schedule while remaining focused and punctual (Dupont Schedule)
• Install, repair, maintain mechanical and/or electrical equipment by completing preventive maintenance
• Learn and execute maintenance procedures and plans to effectively use available resources
• Be flexible and attentive to potential daily changes in maintenance plans
• Ensure adherence to rules, procedures, and workplace policies

Qualifications
• Previous experience in mechanical and/or I&E maintenance
• Experience in process and/or plant maintenance
• Ability to learn skills on the job and work alone or with others
• Strong communication, safety and interpersonal skills
