Mechanical Engineer

Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Swartz Creek!

Experience & Skills:
-2–5 years of industry experience in a mechanical design role (required)
-Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (minimum 2 years required)
-Experience with Autodesk Vault and AutoCAD (preferred)
-Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (basic skills required)
-Strong background in mechanical assembly design (required)
-Familiarity with GD&T and mechanical component fitment (preferred)
-Ability to manage multiple projects and quickly adapt to changing requirements

Qualifications:
-Associate’s degree (preferred) or currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field

Preferred Experience:
-Designing and programming robotic cells
-Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles, specifically for CNC turning & milling
-Knowledge of EOS and common manufacturing methodologies (5S, Kaizen, etc.)
-Experience optimizing manufacturing processes and conducting time studies

Bonus Skills:
-Familiarity with ERP systems
-Basic knowledge of electrical principles
-Experience working with pneumatics and hydraulics
