Brake Press Operator

Trillium Staffing is now seeking Brake Press Operators on 1st shift for a Contract to Hire position!

Schedule is1st shift Contract to Hire Mon-Fri 7-3:30a. Pay rate is $19+ DOE. The Brake Press Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment/machine.

Responsibilities
-Setting up manufacturing equipment for daily use.
-Maintaining equipment and machinery so they can operate safely.
-Training and overseeing other employees on specialty machines.
-Maintaining the understanding of operating procedures for their machines.
-Proposing improvements to the process or machines as needed.
-Reporting safety hazards within the work environment.

Qualifications:
-Mechanical and technical skills.
-Ability to problem solve and understand labels and written instructions.
-Lifting requirements up to 25lbs, must be able to bend, twist and reach.
-High school diploma or GED
-1+ years of Brake Press and Preventative Maintenance experience.
-Ability to read and understand blueprints/CAD drawings.
-Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as Email.
-Ability to work with pneumatic and battery powered tools.
