Technical Project Manager

Trillium Professional is now seeking a Technical Project Manager for work in Richmond!

Client has an immediate need of a Technical PM to oversee a project/transition from a legacy service to the VDN-managed platform with Verizon.

Responsible for responding to and resolving internal and customer escalations. Pay rate is $73 per hour.

Recommended Knowledge/Experiences:
• Experience in State is a plus. ITIL Foundations certification desirable
• Experience deploying and managing multiple location network solutions.
• No PMP required - the technical in data and networking technologies experience will be the key in the success of this role.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Data and Network Monitoring technologies, standards, and practices for management of the broadband circuit portfolio.
• Ability to assist with the Data Networking services lifecycle from strategic planning to operations and financials, from a broadband circuit perspective.
• Ability to perform Data Networking technology and operational assessments to oversee a transition project with the Virginia State Police.
• Project Management experience and the ability to track milestones/deliverables and report out to leadership.
• Experience in managing general network technology projects.
• Understands best practices in service management including contract and vendor management in an outsourcing or shared service.
