Trillium Construction is now hiring for a Traveling Superintendent!

Our client is expanding and is now hiring for a Traveling Superintendent to work nationally. They are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Traveling Superintendent with expertise in electrical and mechanical machine installation. This is a direct hire position paying up to $130k salary plus benefits like Medical insurance, PTO, per diem, and a company credit card.

The ideal candidate will oversee the successful installation, maintenance, and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems for various projects across multiple locations. This position requires hands-on management of on-site teams, ensuring that all installations meet safety standards, codes, and specifications. The Traveling Superintendent will act as a liaison between project managers, engineers, and clients, while also being responsible for scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.

Duties:
-Supervise and coordinate mechanical and electrical installation activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and daily progress tracking.
-Oversee installation of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) and electrical systems (power, lighting, control systems, etc.) to ensure they meet project specifications and safety standards.
-Monitor the progress of the project and address any delays, issues, or changes promptly.
-Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues related to mechanical and electrical systems.
-Review and approve work plans, submittals, and material requirements.
-Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality of work and adherence to project timelines
-Lead and manage on-site mechanical and electrical installation teams, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations from a remote basis and sometimes onsite.

Qualifications: 
-Project Management background in electrical / mechanical  
-Experience working remotely and managing teams both on and off site
-Technical expertise with a background in sales a plus
-Software: Fieldwire (similar to procore)
-Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in mechanical and electrical equipment installation, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
