Trillium Construction is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent for a project in Ann Arbor, MI for 12 weeks.

The Superintendent is to lead and oversee on-site construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will coordinate with project stakeholders, manage daily operations, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This position demands exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
-Project Management: Oversee all aspects of construction projects, from pre-construction to completion.
-Team Coordination: Manage subcontractors, laborers, and vendors, ensuring alignment with project goals.
-Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and update project schedules, ensuring timely completion.
-Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
-Quality Control: Inspect work progress and ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and quality.
-Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the client, project manager, and site teams.
-Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or delays promptly to avoid disruptions.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
-Experience: Minimum of 5+ years as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
-Technical Knowledge: Proficient in reading blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
-Software Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Leadership: Proven ability to lead diverse teams effectively and foster collaboration.
-Safety Certification: OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain it.
-Physical Stamina: Ability to work on-site, including occasional extended hours or weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience in specialized projects such as large retail and restaurants.
-Knowledge of LEED-certified construction practices.
-Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred, not required).
