Quality Technician
Trillium is Now Hiring a Quality Technician in Oberlin!
This is a first shift position working Monday to Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm. The Quality Technician ensures production parts and processes meet customer specifications through in-process and final inspections using precision measurement tools. They analyze quality data, perform root cause investigations, and collaborate with teams to implement corrective actions. The starting pay rate will be $18.00 to $18.50 per hour, depending on experience.

Experience:
-Proven experience in a quality technician role or similar position within a manufacturing environment.
-Strong knowledge of quality management principles, and ISO 9001
-Perform final inspection of tube assemblies - Measure and inspect production parts for conformance to customer requirements
-Perform in-process inspections to ensure conforming parts are being produced
-Discuss inspection results with the production team and recommend necessary corrective actions
-Issue non-conformances for internal quality issues and customer returns
-Data entry of inspection results and/or non-conformance information
-Experience with submitting customer PPAPs, including material certifications, control plans, FMEAs, and dimensional results
-Track customer RMAs and notify Operations for disposition
-Assist the Quality Manager in other assigned areas, including ISO9001 compliance and management of gage calibration
-Assist with receiving inspection and shipping as needed
-Must have the ability to use tape measures, calipers, micrometers, CMM, FARO Arm, and other various inspection instruments; FARO experience is a plus
