Maintenance Mechanic
Experienced Maintenance Mechanics with HVAC experience are needed to interview and start right away.
Pay rate is $28-35/hr.
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and repair of building systems, process equipment, and facility infrastructure in a sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This entry-level position requires basic knowledge of building construction, HVAC, electrical systems, and process equipment. The technician will work in a fully paperless maintenance environment, utilizing digital tools and systems to track, document, and perform maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist in routine and preventive maintenance of HVAC, electrical systems, process equipment, and facility infrastructure.
-Support troubleshooting and repair activities for building and equipment malfunctions.
-Use computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to document work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities.
-Adhere to GMP and SOP guidelines to ensure a sterile and compliant production environment.
-Perform regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs in compliance with safety standards.
-Work collaboratively with other departments to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
-Maintain accurate records in digital systems and ensure compliance with data integrity requirements.
-Participate in on-the-job training to enhance technical skills and knowledge in facility maintenance and paperless system operations.
-Ensure all work is completed with high attention to detail and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
-Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall facility and production goals.

Qualifications:
-Ability to work autonomously and able to read through, work instructions, blueprints, schematics.
-HVAC Experience is a must. Do not need any certs.
-3-5 Years Experience of preventative maintenance.
-High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in constructions, HVAC, electrical systems, or a related field is a plus.
-Basic understanding of building construction, process equipment, HVAC, and electrical systems.
-Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
-Experience or familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other digital tools for tracking maintenance activities is preferred.
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to following established procedures.
-Willingness and ability to learn new software systems and adapt to a paperless work environment.
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment where precision and reliability are essential.
-Prior experience in a manufacturing or pharmaceutical setting is a plus, but not required.
Additional Requirements:
-Must be able to work in controlled environments, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
-Ability to stand, lift, and move heavy equipment as needed.
-Flexibility for shift work or on-call duty, as required.
