Project Manager
Trillium Construction is seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our client in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Our client specializes in high-end residential projects, including new construction, whole-home renovations, additions, historic preservation, and custom work.
The Project Manager will oversee projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and at or above the projected gross margin. The role requires delivering work that meets our client’s high standards while maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
-Manage projects with an annual value of up to $10,000,000.
-Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, daily field reports, safety, and overall project success.
-Prepare and manage detailed project schedules.
-Collaborate with the selection coordinator to ensure timely ordering of allowance items, especially those with long lead times.
-Ensure project sites are clean, organized, and running efficiently.
-Maintain 100% safety compliance, conduct regular progress meetings, and foster a collaborative team environment.
-Maintain open, daily communication with field staff and clients.
-Manage the change order process from estimation through final approval.
-Monitor and control project costs, providing reports on estimated hours and costs to completion.
-Conduct regular update meetings with field teams, clients, and senior management.
-Foster a proactive, creative, and positive team environment, contributing to the overall success of our client.

Skills, Qualifications, and Knowledge
-Strong alignment with our client’s core values, demonstrated through actions and decisions.
-Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with a general contractor.
-Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly preferred.
-Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
-Thorough understanding of construction specifications and industry standards.
-Ability to read and interpret plans, details, and specifications, with strong spatial visualization skills.
-Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project, and industry-specific project management software.
-Experience with automated estimating software.
-Proactive, flexible, and team-oriented, with leadership skills suited for a small company environment.
-Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues before they arise.
-Highly motivated, self-driven, and organized, with excellent time management and communication skills.
-Receptive to feedback and coaching.
