Electrical Safety Manager
Trillium Construction is now seeking an Electrical Safety Manager for direct hire!
This is a Direct Hire role for a National Electrical Contractor local to Eau Claire, WI area.
The Electrical Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing electrical safety programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies. This role involves evaluating electrical systems, identifying potential hazards, developing safety protocols, and providing training to employees. The ideal candidate has a strong background in electrical engineering, occupational safety, and risk management, with a commitment to fostering a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety Program Development:
-Develop and implement comprehensive electrical safety policies and procedures.
-Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and other relevant safety standards.
-Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate electrical hazards.
Inspections and Audits:
-Perform inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and facilities to identify non-compliance or unsafe conditions.
-Lead periodic safety audits and recommend corrective actions as needed
Incident Response and Investigation:
-Lead investigations of electrical-related accidents or incidents to determine root causes.
-Prepare detailed reports and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
Documentation and Reporting:
-Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training, incidents, and corrective actions.
-Prepare regular reports on safety metrics for management review

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Occupational Safety, or a related field.
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical safety management or a related role.
-Thorough knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, and other electrical safety standards.
-Certification in electrical safety or occupational safety (e.g., CSP, CIH, CESCP) is preferred
