HVAC Technician

Trillium Construction is looking to hire a Commercial HVAC technician to troubleshoot, maintain and repair HVAC systems.

Technician must have Commercial HVAC Technician Service experience as well as an EPA certification. The position is full-time and offers many great benefits and room for growth within the organization.

We are seeking a Commercial HVAC Service technician who is interested in finding a team where they can further develop their skills and help lead a growing team with an excellent customer base.

What You’ll Do:
-Perform routine repairs to pump seals, bearing, etc.
-Inspect and test systems to verify system compliance with plans and specifications or to detect and locate malfunctions
-Determine customer concerns with HVAC and boiler systems
-Follow standards, policies, and procedures, including safety procedures and the maintenance of a clean work area
-Record and report faults, deficiencies, and other unusual occurrences, as well as the time and materials expended on work orders
-Adjust system controls to setting recommended by manufacturer to balance system
-Recommend, develop, or perform maintenance procedures such as cleaning, power-washing, or vacuuming equipment, lubricate parts, or changing filters
-Install auxiliary components to heating-cooling equipment, such as expansion and discharge valves, air ducts, pipes, blowers, dampers, flues, and stokers, following blueprints
-Study blueprints, design specifications, and manufacturers’ recommendations to ascertain the configuration of heating or cooling equipment components and to ensure the proper installation of components
-Fabricate, assemble, or install duct work or chassis parts, using portable metal-working tools or welding equipment
-Other duties as assigned

This is full-time work. Pay rate is $25.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience.

Position Requirements:
-5+ years of commercial HVAC maintenance experience
-Universally EPA Certified
-Ability to troubleshoot HVAC components with built up systems and package units, which may include chiller air handler pump towers, cooling towers, control systems, boilers and air handling systems
-Demonstrated refrigeration and controls experience
-Demonstrated commercial expertise in boilers, chillers, pneumatic controls, digital controls and packaged HVAC equipment
-Ability to work as part of a team with a strong sense of teamwork. -Highly motivated.
-Ability to read electronic schematics
-Ability to lift 70 pounds
-High School diploma/GED required + equivalent work experience
