Test Automation Engineer
Trillium Professional has a long-term opportunity in Foster City, CA for a Test Automation Engineer.
In this role, you’ll work closely with mechanical, electrical, firmware, and systems engineers to develop module, system, and hardware-in-the-loop tests.
We’re looking for someone who’s enthusiastic, innovative, a self-starter, and willing to take on the challenges in bringing advanced autonomous vehicle technologies to market.
As a Test Automation Engineer, Networking, you’ll:
-Set up and run Ethernet tests.
-Develop scripts, libraries, and tools to run tests on networking firmware and hardware.
-Work collaboratively with design engineers and project managers to plan and execute test campaigns.
-Document software to make it easily accessible to internal and external team members.

Requirements
-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
-5+ years of networking experience or equivalent
-Experience testing TCP/IP using Python or C/C++
-Experience using network traffic generators (e.g., made by IXIA, XENA, or SPIRENT)
-Knowledge or experience in testing in the following:
-PTP, ARP, ICMP, SNMP, TFTP, SCP, SSH, RSTP, and L2/L3 performance
-Knowledge of routing, switching, IP addressing, subnetting, and network security in Linux
Bonus Qualifications:
-Familiarity with basic mechanical, electrical, and optical test procedures
-Experience working with CAN networks
-Experience with emerging Ethernet technologies
-Experience using test automation frameworks and object-oriented programming in Python
-Experience with Jira, Bamboo, CI/CD, and test-driven development
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
