Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Regional Sales Manager for a direct-hire position in Nashville!

We are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to oversee a team of Outside Sales Representatives. The role involves leading sales efforts, driving revenue, and managing client relationships by utilizing product, industry, and customer knowledge. You will coach and support the sales team in closing opportunities, managing key accounts, and acquiring new customers. This position provides the opportunity for you to make a direct impact on the team’s success through leadership and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Sales Strategy:
•    Lead a team of Outside Sales Representatives to meet regional sales and gross profit targets.
•    Assist in creating and implementing long-term and short-term sales plans, guiding the team in effective action planning.
•    Evaluate territory coverage and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
•    Support sales representatives in setting annual goals and budgets.
•    Coordinate strategies for new business development, individual sales, and key accounts.
•    Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance reviews for sales representatives.
•    Conduct regular field visits (ride-alongs) to assess sales activity and provide guidance.
•    Assist in recruiting and onboarding new sales personnel.
•    Monitor CRM usage, call report compliance, and track sales activity.
•    Help representatives promote and sell the company’s E-Commerce platform to customers.

Customer Relationship Management:
•    Represent the company professionally in client interactions and business development.
•    Lead joint sales calls with vendor reps and other sales team members to introduce new products and services.
•    Address customer complaints and resolve any issues as needed, ensuring customer satisfaction.
•    Support inside sales as necessary during the quote and order process.

Sales Operations:
•    Maintain proficiency in product catalogs, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
•    Attend regular sales meetings and product training sessions.
•    Ensure adherence to company policies within the sales department.
•    Review and approve timecards and time-off requests for direct reports.

Inside Sales Coordination:
•    Collaborate with inside sales teams to align strategies and monitor their sales activities.
•    Assist with recruitment, training, and development of inside sales personnel.
•    Ensure timely completion of assigned company training programs.

Base salary plus performance-driven bonuses, offering unlimited earning potential based on success. On average, first-year earnings exceed $175K, with top performers consistently earning well above $250,000. There is also a car allowance.

Requirements:
•    Strong leadership skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
•    Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
•    Excellent communication and customer service skills.
•    Attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and integrity in work.
•    A degree is preferred, though relevant industry experience will be considered.
•    5-7+ years of experience in a sales role, preferably within the construction supply industry.
