Production Worker

Trillium Staffing is now seeking Production Workers in Madison Heights!

Under general supervision, picks product within the warehouse to fulfill customer orders. Assists in the packaging of outgoing orders. 

Essential Function(s) of the Position:
-Pull and stage outgoing orders and transfers.
-Review unconfirmed pick ticket report on daily basis and escalates unresolved unconfirmed pick tickets to Supervisor. 
-Assist in Packing.
-Loads freight trucks. 
-Review and follow up on orders in pick and hold status on weekly basis. 
-Conduct inventory replenishment and put away. 
-Participates in team meetings.
-Maintains a safe, clean and organized work environment and operates within OSHA/MIOSHA guidelines.
-Operates forklift, material handling equipment and packaging equipment.
-Inspects warehouse equipment to ensure it is functioning properly and in good condition.
-Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Hours are 8am-5pm. Starting pay is $17-19 depending on experience.

Education and Experience:
-High School diploma or G.E.D. required.  
-At least two years of experience in a wireless warehouse environment specifically in order fulfillment. 
-Must be able to pass a Forklift Operator course and exam.
-Ability to take orders, meet targets and work efficiently under a supervising authority.
-Strong attention to detail, self-starter, continuous improvement mindset and ability to work independently. 
-Must possess strong communication skills.
-Basic knowledge of using a PC (Microsoft Outlook); ability to utilize an RF scanner in conjunction with necessary warehouse operations. 
-Ability to properly utilize gauges, tape measure, micrometers and calipers.
