Project Manager

Trillium construction is now hiring for a Project Manager / Estimator near Peoria, IL.

Our client is a full service design-build general contractor serving in the agricultural and chemical processing industries. They specialize in mechanical systems, including pipe fabrication and process equipment. They are now looking to a Project Manager / Estimator to help add to their team and their busy backlog for 2025! This is a direct hire opportunity with a salary of up to $115k depending on experience and a flexible work/life balance! 

Duties:
-Responsible for leading single and multi-discipline engineering, design and architectural teams in both small and medium projects 
-Prepares project budget for design and expenses and work schedule  
-Responsible for preparation of fee proposal  
-Prepares project plan, establishes control procedures, monitors progress, and takes corrective action  
-Coordinates meetings and establishes all paper flow and document control with client, contractors, regulatory agencies and others involved.

Qualifications / relevant experience: 
-Roughly 5-10 years experience as a project manager with estimating experience in construction for chemical processing, biofuels, oilseed processing 
-Previous experience in process piping, pipefitting,  
-Ability to learn and adapt quickly 
-About 150 bids a year (knowledge about concrete, structural steel, piping. All bids are done through excel or win estimator)
