Autonomous Vehicle Driver

Skilled class C drivers needed!

We have multiple positions opening up soon to work on site with a German built, luxury brand company doing autonomous vehicle testing.

Your day to day work would be driving locally doing autonomous vehicle testing and gathering data on the vehicle performance, system issues and reporting any findings.

You would work closely with the engineers and testing operators so some technical knowledge is needed and previous autonomous driving is highly preferred.

Pay $28 per hour.  Day shift, start time 8am.  Shift would include working weekends but you would still have 2 consecutive days off. Long term/open ended contract position with the opportunity to go temp to hire.  Holiday pay and vacation accrual!

-Must have a completely clear driving record with no violations, accidents or suspensions.
-This position requires you to pass an intense driving training course on a racetrack.
-This is a DIFFICULT training to pass so candidates must have the experience listed below as it will be essential to passing this driving test:
-ATV, motocross driving or off road driving
-Racetrack driving
-Ability to successfully maneuver a vehicle as it passes through safety cones while maintaining a certain speed (car will fishtail or drift)
-Handle the vehicle as it accelerates and comes to an abrupt stop
-Able to accelerate while taking sharp corners
-Testing is done in a safe environment on a racetrack.  Some instruction is given but you must be able to really handle a vehicle in all types of situations and weather conditions.
