Accounting Assistant
Trillium Staffing is looking for an HR and Accounting Assistant.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and versatile HR and Accounting Assistant to support our Human Resources and Accounting departments. This unique role will offer a blend of responsibilities, allowing you to play an essential role in supporting day-to-day administrative and financial operations. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing tasks across two departments. This is a full-time, 1st shift position.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting:
-Support accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and reconciliations.
-Assist with monthly financial reports and record-keeping.
-Help prepare documentation for audits and other financial reviews.
-Process expense reports and reimbursements.
-Perform general bookkeeping tasks and maintain accurate financial records.
Human Resources:
-Maintain accurate employee records and assist with HR document management.
-Support payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information (e.g., timesheets, sick days, vacation days).
-Help manage benefits administration, including enrollments, updates, and employee inquiries.

Qualifications:
-Previous experience in HR, accounting, or administrative support roles.
-Knowledge of basic accounting principles and payroll processes.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
-Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
-Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
-High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information.
