Civil Project Manager

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Civil Project Manager in the Jacksonville, FL area to work with the fastest growing heavy civil construction contractor in Northern & Central Florida.

You will be managing both private and public civil construction projects like roads that connect neighborhoods and communities, the public water, wastewater, and drainage systems that provide clean water to your home and keep our streams clean. This opportunity is full-time, direct-hire, and long term with a competitive salary and benefits!

Duties:
-Develops effective plans and schedules for constructing the project with the Superintendent and Project Team and determines the means and methods necessary to meet project goals.
-Confirms that the plan will maximize production, guarantee quality, minimize costs, and promote safety to ensure the success of each project.
-Ensures that all work performed, and products/materials used meets the company standard of workmanship and comply with contractual standards and specifications.
-Monitors, directs, and coordinates activities of the project personnel to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
-Manages project cost and overall profitability of the project; maintains project profit and loss statements monthly.
-Encourages and promotes positive teamwork, motivation/morale, employee development, and retention with direct reports and crews by being transparent in communication to create a culture of trust and respect.
-Maintains excellent client satisfaction level through consistent communication and timely response to client concerns.
-Implements and monitors the company Safety Program, including the coordination of project activities to ensure compliance with all government regulatory guidelines and agencies. Directly responsible for subcontractor compliance to the Safety Program.
-Supervises Superintendents, Senior Project Engineers, Project Engineers, Field Engineers, and Project Administrators.
-Manages change orders, extra work, and conflicts with estimating. 

Compensation:
-Annual salary between $125,000 - $150,000
-Annual bonus
-M/V/D insurance
-401k with 3% match
-PTO

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, -Business Management, or related major or equivalent required.
-Minimum of 5 years construction experience, with at least one year construction supervisory experience preferred. Heavy civil construction experience preferred.
-FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) or PE (Professional Engineer) certification desirable.
-OSHA 30 hour required.
-Valid driver’s license required.
