Trillium Construction is now seeking a Journeyman Electrician for a project in Spring, TX!

This is a 4 month project. The pay rate is $35/hr. Start and End Date: November 15th to March 15th.

Hiring a full-time, self-motivated, task-oriented, proactive Electrician to work on our proof-of-concept system and commercial-scale technology development and deployment. As an Electrician, you will work alongside our engineering team, supporting the wiring and electrical maintenance of our test facility and Carbon Capture and Storage Pilot Unit. This position will be primarily in-person at our testing facility in Spring, Texas.

What you’ll do:
-Provide electrical support to engineers and technicians at our facility.
-Wire and install 480V 3-phase electrical systems, including pumps, blowers, and heaters.
-Perform electrical maintenance on large industrial equipment and systems.
-Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, identifying faults and implementing fixes on our pilot unit
-Maintain electrical components such as switchgear, panels, and motor controls.
-Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
-Assist with electrical setup for testing
-Maintain a high sense of urgency and speed while ensuring safety and accuracy.
-Work independently, developing, planning, and executing daily operations as per established protocols.
-Document all work performed, including changes made, parts used, and test results.

A strong candidate will have the following skills:
-3-5+ years of electrical experience in an industrial setting (required).
-Journeyman Certification (required).
-Experience with 480V 3-phase systems (required).
-Experience wiring pumps, blowers, and heaters (required).
-Proficiency in using electrical tools such as multimeters, wire strippers, and conduit benders.
-Familiarity with electrical codes and safety regulations, including OSHA standards.
-Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
-Strong understanding of control circuits, relays, and PLCs.
-Valid driver’s license (required).
-Strong commitment to workplace safety (required).
-Aptitude for hands-on, technical work, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
