Pipe Fitter

Trillium Construction is now seeking a Pipe Fitter for a project in Spring, TX!

Work will for 3.5 months. Pay rate is $32 per hour. Start and End Date: November 15th to February 1st.
 
Hiring a full-time, self-motivated, task-oriented, proactive, pipe fitter to work on our proof-of-concept system and commercial-scale technology development and deployment. As a Pipe Fitter, you will work alongside our mechanical engineering team in supporting the construction of piping used for the testing of our Carbon Capture and Storage Pilot Unit. This position will be primarily in-person at our testing facility in Spring, Texas. 

What you’ll do: 
• Provide pipe fitting support to engineers at our facility. 
• Help maintain our small warehouse. 
• Fit, assemble, and install pipes, flanges, and valves, Swagelock, and Compression Fittings
• Apply Teflon tape, gaskets, and pipe dope correctly. 
• Maintain a high sense of urgency and speed in building out the necessary piping for our testing facility. 
• Demonstrate the highest level of safety and consideration for others working in the facility. 
• Work independently, developing, planning, and executing day-to-day operations as established in the standard operating procedures.

A strong candidate will have the following skills: 
• 3+ years of pipe fitting experience (required) 
• Technical degree in pipe fitting or related field is a plus. 
• Experience with using drills, ratchets, and pipe wrenches (required). 
• Valid driver’s license (required). 
• Knowledge of both metric and imperial hardware (preferred).
