Staff Accountant
We are currently seeking a skilled Senior Staff Accountant to deliver client focused, top-notch financial services and solutions.
This direct hire position will communicate and work directly with firm management and engage in client communication. This position will occasionally train other staff members. Salary range of $55k - $60k DOE.
Responsibilities
• Assist clients with reaching personal and business financial goals through various client advisory services
• Preparation of individual and corporate federal and state tax returns and other compliance projects
• Prepare trial balances, analyze financial reports, and complete other accounting projects as required
• Complete preparations, compilations, and reviews of financial statements
• Help/assist managers with training of less experiences staff

Requirements
• 3+ years of public accounting experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Working knowledge of tax laws, GAAP, and special purpose framework presentations of financial statements
• Strong organizational and stress management skills
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to train and manage junior staff
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications
• Experience with QuickBooks and Thomson Reuters suite of products is a plus
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• CPA is a plus
