Accountant

Trillium is Now Hiring an Accountant for our Headquarters in Mentor!

The Accountant role is a first shift full-time position, earning an annual salary that is up to $100,000, depending on experience level. The Accountant will prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial data, and other financial reports to assess accuracy and completeness. 

Job Duties include: 
-Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.
-Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
-Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns for Company as requested, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
-Maintain or examine the records of government agencies including ability to prepare all of our required census reporting for the US Census Bureau
-Maintain, and may prepare periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
-Assist with external auditing of financial statement review.
-Prepare forms and manuals for accounting and bookkeeping personnel and direct their work activities.
-Appraise, evaluate, and inventory of fixed assets, recording information such as the description, value, and location of property.
-Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a similar field, 2-5 years of experience in the Accounting field, and strong communication skills.
