Extrusion Technician

Trillium is now hiring an Extrusion Technician in Smithfield! 

We have 2nd and 3rd shift currently available. There is a $1.00 shift differential per hour for 2nd shift ($23/hour), and a $1.40 shift differential per hour for 3rd shift ($23.40/hour). There is also a $0.50 increase per hour after your first 30 days, and a $1.00 increase per hour after your first 60 days. 

The Extrusion Technician role will be responsible for changing extrusion tooling such as tips, dies, screws, and heater bands, reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings, utilizing calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to efficiently measure products, adjusting extruder parameters to ensure products stay within the correct tolerances, and driving forklifts to load/unload products.

Qualifications include: 
-The ability to multitask
-Able to troubleshoot issues as they arise
-Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
-High School diploma, GED, or 4 years of manufacturing experience
-Extrusion experience preferred, a CNC background and a willingness to learn will be considered
-The ability to work overtime to accommodate production needs
-Using gages for inspections
