Principal Senior Civil Engineer

We have an exciting Principal Senior Civil Engineer opportunity with a well-established engineering firm in the Livingston County area.

This direct-hire role offers significant leadership responsibilities, career growth potential, and the chance to drive innovation within the engineering department.

Key Responsibilities:
-Lead and oversee civil engineering projects from concept to completion across residential, commercial, and automotive sectors.
-Manage the design, approval, and review process, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
-Develop and review engineering designs, plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
-Collaborate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
-Present at board meetings with community leaders.
-Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical staff.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
-PE license in Michigan (or ability to obtain one).
-10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
-Proficiency in CAD software, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering tools.
-Experience with public infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
