Safety Technician
Direct Hire opportunity for a Certified Mechanical Safety Technician
1st shift and starting pay is $32-34 an hour.

Responsibilities:
-Assist in the design of machinery safety systems, including controls, interlocks, light curtains, scanners, safety mats, hydraulic safety valves, pneumatic safety valves, etc.
-Build electrical control panels and integrate/test them with their related safety devices.
-Perform field installations and/or supervise installation teams at customer locations.
-Travel required (up to 40%).
-Conduct safety systems testing, start-ups, safety validations, and on- site troubleshooting.
-Communicate your project in a way that inspires confidence in your ability to provide customer solutions.

Qualifications:
-High school diploma or GED.
-Knowledge of machinery safety techniques, safety circuits, and their application.
-Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
-Experience with industrial controls/PLCs.
-Understanding of fluid power systems (pneumatics/hydraulics).
Skills:
-Strong technical skills with the ability to interpret electrical prints/diagrams.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.
-Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
-Self-motivated with the ability to meet deadlines. Experience with industrial machines as a maintenance technician or troubleshooter.
Certifications:
-OSHA 10 Card
