Field Service Engineer
Field Service Engineer position available with a growing Manufacturer in the North Oakland County, Michigan area.
Seeking candidates who are available in either of the the below markets:
-Detroit, Michigan
-Atlanta, Georgia
This is a remote position with travel required. Direct hire opportunity with an anticipated salary range of $78k to $82k. The Field Service Engineer will install and repair machines and accessory equipment.
Field Service Engineer areas of responsibility include:
-New machine and product installations
-Electrical and mechanical CMM service
-All weekly paperwork such as service reports, timesheets, call reports and expense reports.
-Dealer support and training
-Customer training
-Trade show support including set up and tear down
-All other duties as required
-Professionally represent company to customers at all times

Qualifications for the Field Service Engineer
-Electrical aptitude, soldering skills
-Technical degree or equivalent experience
-Strong mechanical aptitude
-Prior metrology experience required
-Knowledge of CMM’s
-Strong customer service skills
-Must be open to travel anywhere where required, 75%-85% travel
