Civil Estimator

Trillium Construction is seeking an Estimator specializing in Civil Construction for a client in Hopwood, PA.

Our client focuses on commercial excavation, underground utilities, site development, and both decorative and traditional concrete work.

We are looking for an experienced Estimator to prepare cost estimates for bidding on civil construction projects. Our client is in a growth phase and is seeking a self-motivated individual who is eager for an opportunity to grow with them.

As an Estimator, your responsibilities will include:
-Reading and understanding bid documents, including design drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, etc.
-Performing accurate take-offs to determine quantities, scope of work, and project requirements.
-Collecting pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
-Creating rough project schedules based on bid guidelines.
-Providing value engineering suggestions.
-Reviewing project addendums.

Compensation:
-Competitive salary based on experience, plus a performance bonus, $90-95k/year
-$25 per pay period for cell phone expenses.
-Mileage reimbursement.

Work Requirements:
-Extensive knowledge and proven experience in civil construction and site development.
-Proficiency in reading civil blueprints.
-3+ years of relevant industry experience, with a strong track record as an Estimator.
-Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

-Strong commitment to both company and personal growth.

License/Certification:
-Driver’s License (required).

Work Location:
-Remote work is possible, but office attendance is required as needed.
