Solar Operations & Maintenance Technician

Trillium Construction is currently seeking an O&M Solar Field Technician I for our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Division. 

The O&M Field Technician will be responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of project equipment related to any operational solar farms.  The successful candidate will have strong electrical/ mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting techniques and organizational skills

Responsibilities:
-Troubleshoot daily project system issues to meet uptime goals.
-Work with other members of the maintenance team and other groups to continuously improve system performance
-Diagnose and troubleshoot various project systems issues such as inverters, switchgear, transformers, breakers, communications equipment, etc.              

Pay is $21.00 - $25.00 to start depending on experience. If interested, please apply today!

-Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in field work; renewable energy (Solar, wind or similar) environment is an asset.
-HS Diploma or GED required.
-Must have a valid driver’s license
-Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications
