Electrical Superintendent

We’re hiring an electrical superintendent immediately.

Well established company that provides customers a sole source solution for Industrial Automation services and products. A dedicated System Integrator and I & C Construction firm that supplies customers with all required aspects of Automation and Control needs.

Superintendent will perform or directs activities of electrical workers performing wiring, terminations, input-output connections, and troubleshooting on systems integration projects as well as electrical panels in the shop and the field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
-Studies drawings, schematics, and specifications for electrical work on the basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each project phase.
-Assists with project proposals by providing estimated labor time and costs.
-Assembles members of the organization to procure proper technician staffing for each project.
-Purchases wiring, parts, and materials to be delivered to meet project needs on a timely basis.
-Schedules and directs personnel and subcontractors engaged in performing electrical work, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of construction to prevent delays.
-Schedules electricians and other resources to help in other areas of the company, including the panel shop and building maintenance when needed.
-Trains electricians and helpers to ensure adherence to project requirements and schedules.
-Confers with personnel to resolve issues with customers and employees.
-Confers with project managers, contractors, and customers to update on schedules and status on a weekly basis.
-Troubleshoots electrical panels without schematics and drawings.
-Inspects work in progress to ensure that workmanship conforms to quality specifications and the adherence to schedules as well as housekeeping standards.
-Updates drawings, schematics, and other required documentation as needed.
-Develops and utilizes tools to track workforce, including checklists, punch lists, site inspections, and housekeeping.

-Benefits available after 45 days including health, dental & vision coverages.
-Working schedule will be 60/60/50
-Starting Salary $40-45/hour doe 
-Hourly incentives
-1 year project

Qualifications
-Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
-Must possess a state Journeyman’s license
-Valid drivers license and maintain an insurable mvr.
-Ability to directly supervise 5 to 15 employees in the Electrical Construction Department. Implements supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws which include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
-Candidates must be able to pass pre employment screening.
