Tool and Die Maker

Trillium Staffing is looking for a Tool and Die Maker in Columbus!

This position for the Tool and Die Maker is a direct hire opportunity!

The Tool and Die Maker conducts, as directed, test and repair dies from presses.  analyze design specifications, cut and shape metal, assemble parts, and test completed products for use in manufacturing facility.  The Tool and Die associate must be profession, technical and mechanically proficient.

Essential Duties:
-Install precision components such as springs, balance mechanisms and dies.
-Setup and operate lathes, drill presses, milling machines and grinders.
-Tear down and repair dies for presses.
-Perform repair, rebuilding or overhaul of presses and service dies - working from blueprints, company manuals, written or verbal instruction.
-Maintain logs and preventative work history.
communicate effectively with other maintenance staff.

Hours are 7am-3:30pm Monday - Friday plus OT. Pay is $38.00 - 40.00 per hour depending on experience. Generous benefits and growth opportunities!

-Knowledge and use of precision gauging equipment, knowledge of machine operation, machine design and operation.
-Must have previous experience with Tool and Die repair, lathes, grinders, and presses.
