Trillium Professional is now seeking a Field Service Technician in Irvine!

Duties/Responsibilities:
-In-office support that provides support for Executives (and designated VIP’s) working in-person or remotely via phone, chat, email, and other communication.
-Identifies, investigates, and resolves the Executive’s (and designated VIP’s) computer software and hardware problems.
-Guides Executives (and designated VIP’s) through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include using diagnostic tools and software and following verbal instructions.
-Support and deploy computer hardware for Executives (and designated VIP’s) and lease refreshes on a four-year basis.
-Assist with the deployment and application of software patches and required security tools.
-Consults with Executives (and designated VIP’s) to determine steps & procedures taken to identify & resolve problems.
-Applies knowledge of computer software, hardware, network, telephony, database, and procedures to solve problems.
-Collaborates with other team members and various resources to research and resolve problems.
-Coordinate software or hardware vendor services to repair or replace defective products.
-Maintains knowledge of technological innovations and trends.
-Maintain and support conference rooms and centralized audio & video solutions deployed throughout the organization.
-Taking the lead on projects, managing project-related tasks, and articulating its status with reports to stakeholders.
-Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
-Excellent and professional verbal and written communication skills.
-Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
-Ability to document or explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical customers.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Strong time-management qualities with the ability to multitask.
-Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn up-and-coming computer hardware and software technologies
-Demonstrate or display leadership capabilities.

Education and Experience:
-Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is highly preferred.
-At least five years of experience in customer technical support is required.
-Ability to lift 20 pounds at times required.
