Mechanical Quality Inspector
Trillium STaffing is now seeking a Mechanical Quality Inspector for work in Kalamazoo!
Responsibilities
• Inspect all parts of electric motors for defects and anomalies.
• Perform incoming measurements and documentation on electric motor parts following teardown.
• Verify incoming shaft runouts via runout stand or lathe.
• Assist with writing final inspection work scope/report for final job quoting purposes.
• Assist with motor teardown and rebuild or rotating equipment when needed.
• Follow daily scheduled tasks prioritized by Production Manager.

• 3-5 Years of rotating equipment experience.
• Ability to perform precision measurements to ensure tolerance specifications are met.
• Ability to understand blueprints and technical specifications.
• Comfortable using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, bore gages, etc.
• Experience writing technical reports following completed work documenting failure modes.
• Have basic operating skills of manual lathes and milling machines.
• Fit within the HECO culture and share the same core values as the company and its team.
• A highly detailed individual who can excel in a fast paced, quickly changing environment.

• Great communicator with the ability to work with cross departmental personnel and people with various backgrounds and personalities.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, carry items up to 50 lbs. in weight
