Machine Operator

Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Press Operator for long-term work!

This is 2nd shift, Contract to Hire, Mon-Fri 2:00 PM-10:00 PM. Pay is $18+ DOE with a hire-in bonus available.

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment/machine.

Responsibilities
-Setting up manufacturing equipment for daily use.
-Maintaining equipment and machinery so they can operate safely.
-Training and overseeing other employees on specialty machines.
-Maintaining the understanding of operating procedures for their machines.
-Proposing improvements to the process or machines as needed.
-Reporting safety hazards within the work environment.

Qualifications:
-Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot potential issues.
-Ability to identify issues or problems in operations or maintenance.
-Mechanical and technical skills.
-Focus on quality control.
-Mechanical and technical skills.
-Lifting requirements up to 25lbs, must be able to bend, twist and reach.
-High school diploma or GED
-1+ years of Machine Operator and Preventative Maintenance experience.
-Ability to read and understand blueprints/CAD drawings.
-Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as Email.
-Ability to work with pneumatic and battery powered tools.
