Solar Project Manager

Trillium Construction is now hiring for a company based in Chattanooga, TN!

Our client specializes in commercial solar construction doing projects like solar rooftops, EV charges, and battery storage. They are now hiring a Project Manager to join the team. Although the office is in Chattanooga, this is a remote / hybrid position based on the fact that this position requires travel. This is a direct hire, full time opportunity with a salary of up to $130k depending on experience plus benefits like M/V/D, 401k, PTO, vehicle allowance and gas card, plus more. 

Duties:
-Drive execution of the projects, keeping them on schedule and on budget, while maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors. 
-Manage project budgets, schedules and other information  
-Present project progress, key findings, and recommendations and manage weekly calls with contractors to discuss project progress. 
-Review and take ownership of project budgets including cost of permits and fees, third-party consultants, and construction costs for off-site, site work. 
-Coordinate and manage solar installers, conduct project meetings, and provide weekly progress reports to client.

Qualifications: 
-Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a solar PM constructing rooftop solar projects and small scale distribution grid of up to 10 MW 
-Ability to travel 50% with short overnight trips. 
-Experience in successfully leading projects and programs to on-time, on-schedule and within budget close 
-Working Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, ProCore
