Geologist

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Geologist in Beloit, WI to assist with sampling and testing of air, soil, and water for regional IDOT projects.

Duties:
-Soil and groundwater sample collection
-Site Characterization, remedial design, and feasibility studies
Data compilation, evaluation, and QA/QC
-Report writing, permitting, cost estimating support
-Coordination with project managers and senior engineering staff
-Installation of soil borings and groundwater monitoring wells 

Compensation:
-Annual salary between $70,000 - $120,000, depending on experience

Qualifications:
-Currently licensed in the States of Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa (or able to obtain licenses)
-Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience as a licensed Professional Geologist or licensed Professional Engineer in the environmental field, preparing and submitting IEPA and WDNR regulatory documentation related to petroleum and/or chlorinated solvent sites
-Competence in obtaining regulatory case closure
-Experience with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, and Due Diligence
-Strong work ethic and collegial personality
-Excellent written and oral communication skills
-Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
