Electronics Engineer V

Trillium Professional is now seeking an Electronics Engineer!

Recognized expert within the company, who architects, designs, researches and develops highly advanced applications which may result in new product/ business opportunities for the company.  
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) across sites on EE projects with full design cycle, recognize EE technical paths for business expansion across company; defines industry best practices for company, mentorship. 

Emerging authority, who applies technical expertise to design problems and is able to provide innovative solutions.

Responsibility
Complexity of Task Assignment - Works on multiple highly complex major projects requiring innovative, original solutions. Strong understanding of development programs with strong exposure across entire development lifecycle from concept to decommission.
o Planning - Long range Technical planning on multiple major projects.
o Scope/lmpact - Results have critical impact on the objective and goals of the program.
o Lead/Oversight Responsibilities - Lead or strong influence over group of engineers and technicians.
o Supervision - Self supervising within guidance and expectations of site management.
o Guidance - Provides guidance to groups of the organization.  Influences functional area strategic goals.
o Initiative -Exercises independent/ judgment in setting implementing goals.
o Technical Writing - Highly skilled at writing any technical document.
o Lead EE designs with full design cycle including schematic capture, design trades, interconnections and PCB layout.  Primary design reviewer, full functional testing: Drive mentor process and EE review boards.

Technical Experience
o Widely recognized as SME or a technical expert within the professional community.
o Consistently demonstrates high level of technical knowledge, ingenuity, creativity within industry.
o Develops and applies advanced technologies, engineering principles, theories and concepts.  Broad knowledge about the design and operation of systems outside of specialty.
o Proficient in Systematic RCCA processes and ability to follow methods and generate RCCA reports for the customers. 
o Craft effective strategic technical (technical development roadmap) to capture new adjacent business. 
o Very proficient with development tools for design capture, simulation, and debug. In particular experience with Orcad schematic capture and Altium Designer.  
o Very proficient with Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA) and Calculations and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis (EPSA). 

 Communication/lnterpersonal Skills
o Effectively mentor outside his/her work group.  Effectively communicate with the customer budgets, schedules, technical issues, and resolution plans. 
o Give effective presentations to critical/high level customers and effectively represent work group on review panels and cross-organizational teams. 
o Resolve divergent technical opinions within team and customer in influencing them.
o Resolve difficult technical issues.

Education and Experience Requirements
-BSEE with 10-14 years experience or MSEE with 8-12 years experience or PhD with 5-9 years experience.
-Minimum of 15 years Digital Design experience with Mil-Spec or Space Programs.  
-Excellent knowledge of industry standard bus architectures such as VME, cPCI, PCIe is highly desired.
