Maintenance Technician

Trillium Staffing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician on 2nd shift in Lapeer!

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and have experience in maintenance, particularly with various types of machinery and manufacturing equipment. While reporting to our Maintenance Manager who operates during the first shift, the successful candidate will demonstrate independence in their work while also being receptive to direction and feedback. This position may require training on the first shift initially, which can be discussed further during the interview process.

Responsibilities:
-Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and manufacturing equipment.
-Diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
-Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
-Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and other team members to prioritize tasks and address maintenance needs efficiently.
-Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and inspections.
-Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to create a secure work environment.

Requirements:
-Mechanical aptitude is essential, with a demonstrated ability to understand and work with various types of machinery.
-Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
-Willingness to undergo training as necessary.
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
