Cyber Security Instructor

Trillium Professional is now seeking a Cyber Security Generalist for direct-hire placement!

Pay range: 70,000-$80,000. Apply now!

Required Qualifications: 
-Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or relevant fields from an accredited university;

Preferred Qualifications:
-Sensitivity and commitment to the goals of Affirmative Action and workforce diversity;
-Experience working in a diverse environment;
-Demonstrated commitment to working with underserved students;
-Teaching experience at a community college;
-Two years of teaching experience in credit-bearing courses at the college level or equivalent industry training experience;
-Relevant industry experience in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology;
-Current cybersecurity-related certifications or licenses. (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, Cisco security) or a commitment to pursuing (for Cybersecurity faculty only);
-Demonstrated versatility in teaching a range of courses offered in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology programs;
-Experience in curricular planning and assessment as well as practices, technologies, and inclusive pedagogy to enhance student learning;
-Experience with distance learning and/or alternate instructional delivery systems; 
-Experience with federal and/or state grants;
-Interest in and familiarity with workforce development needs in the regional community;
-Experience with outreach activities with K-12 schools.
