Field Service Technician

Local Field Service Tech needed in De Pere, WI! 

Trillium Staffing is currently recruiting for a Local Field Service Technician in De Pere, WI to add to our client’s growing team! 

The Local Field Service Technician will support our clients labeling and inserting systems through assembly, factory testing, and on-site service calls and repairs. The standard duties for this position include hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, training customers on operation and maintenance of equipment, performing start-ups and installs, and you will be responsible for keeping proper documentation on all jobs and service visits. 

Service Techs do regularly travel to local customer sites across the Fox Valley throughout the week. When not traveling, you will be assembling equipment, wiring machines, and preparing for upcoming service visits in the shop. All Techs check in to the shop each morning for their shift and will be given a company vehicle for travel. Out of state or overnight travel does occur at times but is minimal. Proper advance will be given if traveling overnight. A max overnight stay would be 1-2 nights.

This is a full-time, contract to hire opportunity, with potential for immediate direct hire based on experience. The standard schedule is Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm but does vary based travel requirements. The starting wage is $25-30/hr, based on experience level.  All travel time is paid and additional hourly pay is given for any overnight or out of state travel.

Qualifications:
- 2-4+ years’ experience in Electro/Mechanical, Industrial Maintenance or a related field, preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and machine troubleshooting experience.
- Knowledge of electrical wiring, circuits, AC & DC, preferred but willing to train.
- HMI/Servo experience is a huge plus.
- Welding and/or manual machining and fabrication experience, a plus.
