Maintenance Technician

Trillium Staffing has an immediate opening for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician. Primary responsibilities will include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, building, and grounds systems.

Other essential duties and responsibilities include:
-Installing, repairing, and maintaining production machinery, forklifts, and overhead cranes.
-Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
-Removing and replacing mechanical and electrical machine parts such as electric motors, wiring, fuses, breakers, AC/DC drives, motor starters, pumps, hoses, hydraulic motors and cylinders, pneumatic motors and cylinders, valves, bearings, shafts, couplings, gear reducers, belts, sheaves, chains, and sprockets.
-Skilled at welding with MIG and stick welder, oxy/acetylene cutting, electrical multimeter reading, and mechanical and electrical drawing comprehension.
-Set up and operate shop machines and tools such as lathe, grinder, drill press, bearing heater, parts washer, hydraulic press, bearing and coupling puller, etc.
-Working knowledge of lubricants and chemicals such as gear oil, hydraulic oil, grease, solvents, etc.
-Knowledgeable of techniques, materials, tools, and equipment used.
-Other duties as assigned.

This is a first shift position Monday through Friday. Hours are 6:00am-2:30pm. Overtime should be expected. Pay ranges from $26-$30/hour, based on experience. This position is full time and temp-to-hire. A competitive benefits packaged is offered upon company hire!
 
Qualifications
-High school or GED
-At least 3-5 years of previous experience with machine maintenance in an industrial setting required.
-Knowledge of CNC and PLCs required.
-Experience working with hand tools, welding equipment, grease gun, pressure washer & solvents, hydraulic press, multi-meter, drill press, ladders, generators, cranes, manlifts, etc.
-Ability to operate a forklift.
-Possesses basic math and computer skills.
-Possesses a high mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints.
-Must have a valid driver’s license.
