Accounts Payable Coordinator

Accounts Payable Coordinator position available in the Bronson, Michigan area working at our client location who is a leading manufacturer.

Possible contract to hire opportunity. Will also consider Accounts Payable Coordinator candidates. Pay range is $24.00 an hour. Hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.. Seeking 3-5 years of experience. Business casual environment. Main functions will include full cycle accounts payable processing. High volume. Daily matching and posting large volume purchase orders to vendor and customer invoices in accounting software. Will work with the accounting department and will be the point of contact for AP procedures and policies. 

Main duties:
-Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices
-Reconcile monthly statements
-Implements and maintains systems
-Manages closing of AP records
-Maintains AP files and year end files
-Research, resolve and communicates discrepancies.

Requirements:
-3-5 years of experience
-Excellent data entry and advanced Excel skills. Must be able to use -VLOOKUP in Excel. High proficiency with data entry speed and accuracy.
-Associates degree or bachelors degree in accounting preferred.
-Knowledge of AP, purchasing methodology and basic accounting principles.
-Ability to work with large amounts of complex data required.
-Excellent communication skills.
