Electrical Foreman

Trillium Staffing is now seeking a new equipment Electrical / Wiring Foreman for direct-hire!

Direct hire position paying $70,000 and working a typical schedule of M-F 7am-3pm with OT as necessary.  This position will include some overnight travel to customers’ locations and may require you to be on call at times.

In this position, you will:
 - Be responsible for all shop employees’ assignments of daily tasks.
 - Utilize personnel efficiently to maximize effectiveness and quality of work.
 - Prioritize workloads to meet scheduled deadlines.
 - Train and evaluate employees.
 - Wire new cranes in the fabrication process.
 - Troubleshoot electrical issues in the field.
 - Leadership in the field for startups.
 - Update team members on status of projects, needs, and issues.
 - Support installation team as needed.
 - Advocate and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
 - Complete required work orders, reports, and other paperwork promptly.
 - Understand OSHA codes and CMAA guidelines for hoists and cranes.
 - Maintain company-issues equipment.
 - Effective communication with customers including guidance on proper crane usage.

To qualify for this position, you will have:
 - 5+ years of experience with cranes and hoists.
 - Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
 - Industrial electrical, controls, and conduit bending experience.
 - Experience with conveyors and conveyor installations.
 - Familiarity with concepts, practices, and procedures of field work.
 - Associate’s degree in electrical/mechanical systems and/or equivalent military technical training.
 - Knowledge of construction of cranes.
 - Experience with high voltage (220v, 240v, 480v) and 3-phase motors.
 - Ability to read electrical blueprints and voltage meters.
 - Proficiency with MS Office or similar software.
 - Valid driver’s license and insurable under company’s liability coverage.
 - Ability to pass background checks permitting access to military, state, and federal institutions.
