Continuous Improvement Engineer

Trillium Staffing has an immediate opening for a Continuous Improvement Engineer at this terrific Columbus manufacturing company!
The Continuous Improvement Engineer will analyze and improve the engineering processes within the organization, including streamlining efficiency and eliminating waste. The Engineer will work with cross functional teams to monitor performance and optimize the transfer of information.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze engineering processes for waste and redundancies.
• Develop proposals for process improvements.
• Analyze KPIs and implement improvements.
• Improve SOPs to maintain compliance with ISO 9001.
• Train engineering on new processes.
• Lead Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement.
Great direct hire opportunity offering full benefits package, paid time off, and 401K. Salary will be in the range of $70-90,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• 4+ years of industry experience
• Experience with SolidWorks CAD software
• Ability to read blueprints and wiring schematics
• Programming experience with Python or Java is preferred
• Knowledge of heat transfer principals and electrical circuits is a plus
• Experience with Ansys or other FEA software is a plus
