Senior Automation Controls Project Manager

Trillium Professional has a direct hire opportunity for a Senior Automation Controls Project Manager in Fayetteville, AR.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
-Performs research, design, and development of manufacturing and distribution processes and product designs.
-Creates new designs to solve difficult manufacturing problems
-Designs or sources production equipment, robotic systems and automation equipment
-Prepares detailed CAD models and drawings to facilitate fabrication
-Program and test Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for use in manufacturing systems
-Troubleshoots and diagnoses mechanical and electrical malfunctions to include hardware and process issues.
-Support and continuously improve existing automated solutions
-Programs OIT with PLCs.

Qualifications of the Position Include:
-Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from accredited university
-5+ years of progressive automation engineering and robotics experience in a manufactured products environment
-Extensive experience in AutoCAD, Auto CAD Electrical, SolidWorks, or other Solid modeling and design software
-Experience designing machines, electrical controls/systems, machine components, machine layouts,
-Experience with protective relays programming and Allen Bradley PLC’s. Experience with FANUC robots strongly preferred
-Prior experience with manufacturing equipment in the areas of forging, stamping, casting, welding, machining, & assembly
-Strong technical zeal to include the ability to present technical information to both technical and nontechnical team members.
-Strong critical thinking, problem solving and trouble shooting experience.
-Strong communication skills to interface with product development, manufacturing, marketing, finance, and supplier personnel.
