Welder

Trillium Construction is seeking Structural Welders for a fabrication shop in Huntsville, Alabama.

This is a full time opportunity. Pay rates for the welders/fabricators that meet the qualifications is $23 - $26 per hour depending on experience and skillset. No per diem is available.

Work schedule is Monday - Saturday, working 8-10 hours a day. Night Shift. Expected weekly hours is 40 hours a week minimum, potentially up to 70 hours per week depending on the project but not guaranteed.

-Ability to prepare structural metal products for welding and riveting, lay out parts, line up edges and fit parts together are required to apply.
-Must have at least 1 year of experience and be able to safely perform tasks given.
-Candidates will need to be proficient in the Flux Core Welding process.

Welding Process: FCAW-Flux- Core welding
Filler Metal: 0.045 E71T-12C/M-H8
Material: Carbon Steel
Plate thickness: 1” note: backing strip will be used with run-off tabs
Weld test positions: V Groove 3G (uphill) test
NDT/testing type: visual of root and final cap and 2 side bends.
